Nuclear Medicine as a rapidly changing and expanding field has now many unrecognized values of the impacts on different specialties of Medicine. Kuwait was the first and still the only country in the Arab World to have a professional Nuclear Medicine training program leading to Kuwait Board of Nuclear Medicine. Additionally clinical M.Sc. program has been created to run parallel to the professional training. The department has carried the principal responsibility of these programs leading to growth and development of nuclear medicine service in the community.
