2) Classroom
Etiquette
Students should be aware of and comply with
the following regulations to ensure a smooth teaching − learning
process:
- Students should be seated
before the beginning of the lecture. Tutors have the right to deny
students access to the classroom if they are late.
- Students should not leave
the lecture hall before the end of the lecture without permission.
- Talking, drinking and
eating are strictly forbidden in the classroom.
- Mobile phones and pagers
should not be turned on for any purpose.
- Attendance:
- First three hours of
absence, the student gets the 1st warning,
- Second three hours of
absence, the student gets the 2nd warning,
- Third three hours of
absence, the student gets expelled and is not allowed to attend the
final examination.
- If a student was barred of
a lecture, he/she is then considered absent.
- "Decent Clothing
Protocol" is to be followed and respected.
- Performance grades through
the academic semester will be published on the Biophysics website;
however, the final grade will be obtained after the approval of board
of examiners.
