The mission of the Department of Pharmacy Practice is to:

• Provide international quality education in pharmacy relevant to its practise in Kuwait,
• Conduct and promote excellence in research in the field of pharmacy, and
• Provide leadership and expertise on the practice of pharmacy for local pharmacists, professional bodies and the Ministry of Health.

We endeavor to accomplish our mission by:

Teaching

• Training Pharmacists who are able to function effectively and efficiently in a rapidly changing, culturally diverse, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Providing excellence in teaching by faculty who are active in basic and clinical research.

Research

• Conducting basic, clinical and applied research directed toward the improvement of healthcare practice.

Community Services

• Developing Clinical Pharmacists to create new knowledge and understanding and enhance healthcare treatment and practice.
• Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, industry and other organizations which enrich student learning, support current research, and improve healthcare access, treatment and practice.
