Abstract Submission Instructions

The Abstract

Each student is required to submit an abstract about their research that will be published in the official Student Research Day website and the abstract book.

  • All entries must include an abstract, which can be copied onto the online submission form
  • The abstract is to be no longer than 300 words
  • The abstract must include the title, student’s name and Department
  • Entrants may wish to break their abstracts down into the following five sections: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Discussion.

Students need to submit only one copy of the abstract online by filling out the online form. The online form can be accessed through the conference website. Additional information that the student must provide includes the following:

  1. Full title of the research
  2. Name, email address of the author(s)
  3. Name of the author’s academic supervisor
